Last night, I received a late Turo booked for a same day pickup. It’s a one week booking that will get me over the net $500/month I’ve set for the Turo Experiment. I set this target amount based on the cost of both care payments and the auto insurance policy that covers both. It just so happens that the total bills are damn near $500.00 – $516.00 to be exact.

The alert came in at 1:38 AM which is technically this morning. I pretended not to see the Turo message while pretending I wasn’t awake and watching Mr Robot episodes on Prime Video – where Seasons 1 – 3 of the popular series is now streaming in High Definition #CommissionsEarned.

After my alarm sounded after 7 AM, I was happy to respond to my Guest with abundant exclamation marks. I’d see her at lunch time. Unfortunately for my Guest, she didn’t get the Early Bird discount of 10% off because she booked same day. She got the 7+ Day discount of 15% though, so there’s a win.

Fall continues to take a hit. I’m not too upset by it. If it earns a nickel, the CRV is earning more income than it would parked outside my apartment building. Am I right?
