This morning, I speculated about the thing in the military leadership structure that’s broken and likely a major factor in low morale.

I started Chapter 7 of Think and Grow Rich titled organized planning. The author mentions that the future of successful organizations it’s not based on leader ship by force but leadership by cooperation.

I thought maybe the problem with leader ship in the hierarchy what breaks in military organizations is the fact that leaders are chosen by the people above them. And maybe the solution for Morale, for more efficient followers is a leadership structure where the followers are chooses their leaders.

Wouldn’t you more readily accept orders and instruction from a leader you’ve been asked to accept versus one forced on you?
