All I’m saying is that 7 years and 2 months after military retirement, my perspective of my service has shifted a little bit 🤏🏾
For an unknown reason, I want to just keep it 100 with you in my response. Like, “I did serve for 20 years, but I wasn’t good at it.” I don’t say that out loud: I’m not a trash human being to intentionally sh*t on someone else’s good experience. I respond with genuine gratitude, always.
