Using an unlisted video, I’m testing out YouTube’s copyright detection. I’m whistling the James Bond tune as I remember it from the game GoldenEye on Nintendo 64.
The plan is to make a video for my rental car business’s YouTube channel that shows the convenience items I leave in the car for guests.
Idea
This is how the video plays out in my head. An overhead camera shot. I lay out each of the items on a cleared space inside the vehicle – like the trunk floor.
In the style of a James Bond movie, I place the items on frame one by one while explaining their use just like the guy in the lab who makes trinkets for James Bond. The classic tune plays in the background. I’ll add in some homemade sound effects.
I’ll provably include B-roll in a split screen showing each item in use. For example, snapping my phone into the windshield mounted phone holder.
Why?
This is about speeding up the time to prepare a video and publish it. It’s faster and less stressful for me to whistle or hum a tune than it is to search in YouTube for a song I probably don’t know the title of, play it to be sure it’s not a bizarre remake/remix, and choose the right section of the song to attach to the video.
In short, this is about getting from concept to publish faster.
See what happens
OK we’ll see what happens. I published the video at 9:47 AM CST on 2026.04.16.
