I didn’t want to go to the gym today. I really really didn’t want to work out. For some crazy reason, I went to the gym and worked out. I can barely get my heart rate to drop below one 25 bpm, but I feel great.

Let me be clear, my body feels like a wet dish towel. Emotionally and mentally, I feel great. I seriously didn’t want to go to the gym, but I didn’t bail. Did you catch that part? I did not bail. Right now, I’m thinking, “Oh snap, maybe I can do this🤔.” Maybe I can stick to a workout routine and do something that’s good for me even when I don’t feel like doing it.

This sense of achievement is something I haven’t felt in a while. Feels like it’s been missing.

Seriously, I’m super depleted. I’m about to synthesize the hell outta the 60+ grams of protein I’m getting from a large Engineer sandwich via Firehouse Subs.
