No newspaper this week

I didn’t receive this week‘s issue of the Redstone Rocket newspaper. My duplex neighbor received his newspaper. In fact, his copy is getting rained on at the moment on his side of the front yard.

Why was the newspaper I seldom read not delivered to me this week? For entertainment purposes, should I assume the worst and most imaginative reasons for the neglect?

Did the Redstone Rocket newspaper delivery person see me outside of my home and presume, “He’s probably an audiobook guy.“?

Am I being punished by the base, Redstone Arsenal, because I insisted that base pool staff give me a written receipt for Summer Swim Lessons in lieu of their receipt machine being broken? Because I feel I was within my rights on that one.

Am I being chastised because I don’t visit my mailbox often enough?

Or maybe the newspaper delivery person is a very serious planner and hates me for poorly planning a successful birthday party for my son? Maybe that burns them up.

Solution

What I’ll do is I’ll read a few pages from last week’s issue. That way, at least I can say honestly that I read the paper. I’m pretty sure thats how honesty works.
