To my children or grandchildren who will bury me, please use a QR code on my tombstone. You’ll save a lot of money on the inscription by pointing to a website.

Also, this will allow you to dynamically update the epitaph, obituary, and relevant biographical content. I would suggest recording the funeral but uploading the complete service and the eulogy as separate videos. I just feel like the eulogy is kind of the meat of the event, and anyone like me would like to be able to jump directly to that bit.

I won’t be picky about the technical details of the QR code. But keep in mind, the lines should be engraved deeply enough so the color (black most likely) can’t fade from weather exposure. I’ve seen other headstones pull off the black text, and it looks like there’s some kind of protective coating used. If the protective coating is the plan, please make sure it has no glossy finish. Gloss could create a glare and affect the QR code being readable.

It should go without saying but make the website a single page landing page.
