Do you think birds know that pooping off a tree’s thinner, outer branches will prevent the poop from landing on the branch they’re standing on? I can’t recall ever seeing a bird poop from the thicker end of a tree branch.
But yeah, maybe birds are intuitive enough not to poop where they’re standing.
