Today, I’m thinking about me and anxiety. Sometimes it seems that I need the anxiety to help me perform.

My habit of procrastination is one clear indicator. I use it for basic task completion too – for example,  completing household tasks, finishing personal projects, and arriving on time to meetings/appointments.

Me writing this is a progression toward resolving a problem. One thing I think that would change my perspective – change my belief that I must rely on anxiety to get things done – is acknowledging the emotion and dissecting the reason(s) I’m feeling it.
