Routine Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation

Today, I have a routine procedure to treat my two herniated discs that are the source of my chronic low back pain. Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation is the procedure. I need it roughly every 6 to 7 months, so that feels often enough to call it “routine“.

I can’t eat for eight hours before the procedure. Actually, it could be 12 hours. I’m not sure anymore. Who cares? The point is I haven’t eaten, and I’m cranky.

It’s taking quite a lot of willpower right now to keep from complaining about something an open forum like my website or a social media platform.

And I think I will have some Chinese or Jamaican food after this is all done.
