I expected the invention of the 3D printer would be the end of socks with the seams over the toes. I was mistaken.

Sure, we’re doing some pretty cool things in prosthetics and mechanical engineering. What about the socks — a very real, human problem?

What’s really going on here? Is this a problem no one is working on?
