This morning, I feel excited about applying for jobs. The idea has been an anxiety trigger since my first requirement to submit a résumé in NSS class. I’m not sure what changed, but naturally I’ll try to figure it out.
I think I’ve realized that my pool of organizations to work for will be smaller than the ocean size I initially expected. Mine might me more like a small sea or gulf, if you will.
There will be certain conditions I’m rigid on like partial remote work, a clear onboarding system, and a clear project management system.
There’s not much else that I’d file under deal breaker territory.
