I woke up just after we heard and ironically yelled “papyrus” among a larger group of people who were chanting the word biblically. Here’s what I remember about the dream.

I was with a group of friends, and we’re all waiting with digital movie tickets outside a building that wasn’t the movie theater. While I was comparing seat locations two of the friends, someone in a large group near us said in speech the word papyrus. Instinctively and without being cued, my group and I began chanting “papyrus, papyrus!…” until the massive group joined in the chant. It felt hilarious.

Hilarious because Papyrus is one of the forbidden typefaces in design. The subject always gives me a chuckle because I went through a Papyrus font phase while stationed at my first base. I recall using it in email signatures and poem titles.

A sleep mask with 50% opacity

I think a sleep mask with 50% opacity would be nice to have. That way, the light in my curtain-less bedroom won’t be as much of a shock.

My real sleep mask

Maybe the 50% opaque sleep mask could be a second mask built into the main mask. Like you could flip open the main mask — like how those glasses Dwayne Wayne wore on A Different World (streaming on HBO Max by the way!) — to reveal the opaque one.
