My daughter, 4, can’t identify all the letters.
My son says she’s in a class with 3 year olds. That’s something I’ll have to followup.
I’m worried though. I was hoping to have a conversation with her mom about stating her in kindergarten this year. Her birthday is in Dec like mine is, and I started early.

I don’t think she’ll be ready for kindergarten.
The letters’ issue makes her reading miles behind her speech. I don’t know what’s a worse situation.

Her dad is on the job though. In the mail right now is the speak and spell. The classic game I used to have when I was a kid in the 80s that seriously help me spell and subsequently read.
I also think it’s responsible for my obsession with finding words with in other words.
I think the speak and spell is going to bring it all home for her. We’ll see what happens.
