I want to mark this moment in time when the Walmart Market Grocery Pickup is underappreciated.
This is a shot of the empty parking lot at 10:30am today.
The service is free. For someone like me — extreme lover of buying online and rejector of standing in lines — it’s a breathe of fresh air.
Maybe it’s the town of Sumter. Maybe it’s the pickup grocery concept, in general. But this is where the Walmart lines should be.
I can’t help but wonder if there are cities that are all about the service. Or maybe it just hasn’t caught on yet how awesome and low stress the service is.
I captured this moment of somewhat unpopularity.
