Reengage Productivity Practices

Turns out that time blocking wasn’t the only productivity tool I casually abandoned.

I completely forgot about my daily “Top 3” tasks. Thinking back, that was a really successful move. I’m not sure when I got off the practice – probably when I took a trop trip breaking my home routine. Weird tho. Completely forgot.

Now, I have a little more than 1 week before coding school PreWork Round 2 starts. I’ve got a lot to do, and I’m definitely getting back to prioritizing. It’s crucial.

I haven’t met my goal set for Podcasting Blogger to be launched with posts rolling out in March. I’m not far off. I didn’t factor in Sabio Prework and account for the time needed for self-study. (What I’m referencing for goals is a post I wrote in January for mikewriting.com)

I think I’ll loosely plan the priorities for the week today or Sunday, then bring back to Top 3 right now.

One of today’s priorities is picking up WalMart Market groceries. If you’re reading this in the future, one time Wal-Mart was the only drive-to-the-store-and-we-load-your-groceries-in-your-car-after-you-place-an-order-online-for-no-additional-charge place in the game. It was a free service and WalMart was the only one doing it. Me in the present still can’t believe it’s free.

In summary, prioritizing my day is mandatory. I broke the habit, but I’m back.
