Motion to Solidify FE!N as the ADHD Anthem

My argument is brief. I’d like to accept FE!N by Travis Scott featuring Playboi Carti as the song representing people gifted and cursed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder/attention deficit disorder. I’ll explain:

  • An ADHD brain is a fiend (pronounced feen – a Black culture modification) for stimulation.
  • The song has the ideal balance of repetition and variation to remain interesting for at least 120 consecutive seconds. It’s satisfying for pattern recognition.
  • Variability in activity: the song can be listened to while reading a book, studying coursework, cleaning, exercising, or writing.
  • The ADHD brain deeply appreciates hypnosis. To be in a hypnotic state means our senses are hijacked, and our cognition gets to run on autopilot thanks to some external source. In this case, rhythmic audio. The ADHD brain loves being on autopilot because it gets the feeling of achieving something with very little active effort. Someone eventually called it being in the zone.

Unintelligible is preferred

The lyrics are largely unintelligible; however, the listener accepts that the patterns of sound are the appeal and value of the song.

An experienced ADHD brain is aware of the peak of interest for songs like FE!N and recognizes that searching for the lyrics will likely result in a dip in the level of interest in the songs.

If not this, then that

If not FE!N, then Liberation by OutKast.👑
